Full-day trip around the island of Rab 1 “Njivice Beach”

Departure from the port of Rab is at 9:30 a.m. We sail along the Barbat Channel towards the Zavratnica Bay, which resembles a fjord and is part of the protected Velebit Nature Park. At the very beginning of the bay are the easily visible remains of a sunken ship from World War II.

We then sail along the northeastern side of the island of Rab towards the fascinating pebble beach of Njivice, above which the steep slopes of Mount Kamenjak rise almost 400m. We arrive around 10:45 a.m. The coast is an ideal place for diving and swimming, and for relaxing on a dinghy with a bite to eat and a cold drink.

At 12:00 we weigh anchor and sail along the northern side of Lopar, turn west and continue towards the protected and wooded coast of the island of Rab, which is rich in sandy beaches. Kalifront is known for its crystal clear emerald-colored sea. Here we anchor in the coves of Planka and Ćifnata around 1:00 PM.

Then we head towards the pier of the Frkanj restaurant, which is located in the dense pine forest of the peninsula of the same name. Here you can enjoy the restaurant’s Mediterranean specialties or the atmosphere of the Smola Beach Chillout Bar, or even go swimming. After finishing, we sail towards the port, passing under the Rab walls and four bell towers. We dock in the port of Rab at 6:00 PM.
